Austin, TX, July 1, 2010— July 4th weekend in Austin marks the highly anticipated opening of Rockstars Cabaret in North Austin..
The party begins Thursday, July 1st as Rockstars celebrates its grand opening. Adult performer Angel Vain will be hosting the event as well as serve as the clubs first feature performer. Also performing are the bands The Darlings and Black Market Syndicate courtesy of Old Shoe Records of Orange, Ca. The club is one of the first gentlemen’s clubs in the U.S. to feature a combination of live music and feature performers. And while many may wonder how live music could be enjoyed in a cabaret, the result can only be described as what a music video 'should' look like... Exotic Beauties everywhere, the vibrations of a hard hitting bass line, and the infectious energy of a well tuned electric guitar!!!
Entertainment for grand opening of Rockstars begins at 9:30 pm with South Bay punk rockers The Darlings. Followed at 10:00pm with XXX performer Angel Vain’s first feature set at the new venue. At 11:30pm Texas’ own Black Market Syndicate will rock the club followed by the final performance of Austin’s own Angel Vain. “We felt Angel was the obvious choice to perform as our first feature here at Rockstars. Angel is not only an incredible performer, but an Austin native as well. Combine that with her love and passion for music and its clear why she was our first choice to open our club. She has a huge fan base here in Austin and we are very proud to be the ones that bring her home” states Rockstars owner Tommy Perkins.
“Angel is a great friend of our record label, she has helped us with many Old Shoe Records events in the past and she always is wonderful to work with.” Added Old Shoe Records owner Josh Stolo, “Angel has always been there when we needed her so we were more than happy with the chance to bring in our bands The Darlings and Black Market Syndicate off of the Warped Tour to support her in opening this new club”
When asked about her homecoming and the opening of Rockstars Angel offered the following: “I am so excited to be involved in this event. I am a huge fan of live music and I usually go to 2 or more shows a week around Orange County and in Hollywood. The fact the Tommy has managed to combine the live music with the live entertainment is awesome. This party is going to be so amazing because it’s a combination of so many great things, between the live bands, the beautiful women and a clean, new and upscale venue unlike any I have ever seen before. And to top it off, to be able to have all this in my hometown, not far from where I grew up makes it that much better. I have wanted to do a show in Austin for quite some time and this event is exactly what I’ve been waiting for.”
